Angelina Plum

European Plum

A rich flavoured plum, with juicy, sweet flesh. A good all-rounder. A lovely fresh eating plum. Also cooks superbly into sweet deserts.

 

Fruit are small and oval in shape. The skin is dark-purple, and the flesh is yellow, firm and juicy.

A freestone variety.

 

The tree is vigorous, easy to grow and will crop heavily and reliably. In favourable years, fruit thinning is recommended.

 

Uses: Fresh eating, baking, preserves, jams and even liqueurs.

 

Angelina plum is self-fertile. However, pollination and crop set can be improved with a pollination partner.
