A highly regarded desert pear, with tender, melting flesh and a beautiful, sweet flavour. A well balanced and rich flavour, with a hint of musk. Excellent for fresh eating, baking, preserving and drying.
The fruit are medium to large in size with a green-yellow skin and a pink-red blush. The flesh is yellow-white, grained, buttery and juicy. The fruit will store well
