Myrobalan H29C is a vigorous rootstock, producing a full-size tree
 
A vigorous and adaptable rootstock which grows in a wide range of soils and conditions. Suitable for grafting plums and apricots.
 
Will produce good yields of good quality fruit. 
 
Slow to bear fruit, and may take 4 – 5 years.
 
Myrobalan has a shallow but vigorous root system, and will grow in a wide variety of soil types. It will tolerate wet conditions, but prefers good drainage. Myrobalan will require moderate watering once established and has some tolerance of dry summer conditions.
 
Mature tree height:  4 – 6 meters
 
Soil: Suitable for both heavy clay and light soils.
