Fruit ripening time: January

A popular early season apple known for its delightful, sweet, strawberry flavour.

With such a short ripening time, the intensity of the strawberry flavour can be influenced by the summer weather. In less favourable years, the flavour of Worcester Pearmain is described as sweet, but uncomplicated.

A medium sized apple with a striking, intense red flush over a green background. The flesh is white, crisp, and juicy.

Uses: A good eating apple, best enjoyed when allowed to ripen fully on the tree and eaten shortly after picking. Good for stewing into puree.

Storage time is short, and these apples will last approximately one week in the refrigerator.
