A highly flavoured apple, with a good crispness and is very juicy!

The flavour is sweet with a mild tartness, making this a lovely apple for fresh eating. 

 

A medium to large sized apple. The skin has a green background colour with a lovely solid crimson-red blush that will cover much of the apple. The flesh is very white and crisp.

 

An Australian apple, originating in Batlow NSW

 

This variety is a reasonably high chill variety, with moderate vigour and heavy crops. A tip bearer.

Good resistance to black spot.

 

Uses: A good fresh eating apple, and makes a good addition to salads, as it is slow to discolour. Good storage qualities, both on the tree and off.
