Fruit ripening time: April - May

 

Known for its sweetness, the Fuji is also crisp and juicy, with a refreshing, uncomplicated flavour.

 

The fruit is medium in size, with an attractive pink speckled flush. The flesh is white, very crisp, and juicy with a honey sweet flavour.

 

Developed from a Red Delicious and Ralls Janet.

 

Uses: An excellent fresh eating apple. Also useful in salads, for juice and cooking. Excellent storing qualities and will keep for many months in refrigeration.

 

Pollinators: Akané, Braeburn, Brown’s Apple, Cleopatra, Cripps Pink, Cox’s Orange Pippin, Democrat, Esopus Spitzenburg, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Improved Fox Whelp, Jonathan, Kingston Black, Northern Spy, Pine Gold Pippin, Splendour, Tydeman's Early Worcester, Worcester Pearmain, Yarlington Mill and white flowering Crabapples.
